Had the opportunity to get hooked up to a fiber optics ISP and of course took it. I wanted to say I have had Wildblue and Exede for many years and luckily have had pretty excellent service both with the internet and with the 3 or 4 times I've had to call in. I can honestly say that I have never, not once gone over my limit of 10 gigs for the months. That's probably because the package I had top speed was only 1.4mbps. I was able to do all that I wanted, even watch a few t-tubes without buffering, so I was satisfied. I have enjoyed this forum and even chimed in a time or two. By the way, the CSR I cancelled with was most helpful and understood why I was leaving. I can't help but be a little concerned about being charged for the equipment after I send it in, but I'll get it to UPS the day I receive my box. (Exede Brad and Exede Diana, I'll let you know if I have a problem). One warning to anyone that had a Wildblue or Exede e-mail address - make sure you get any e-mails you want saved taken care of before you cancel because your access is immediately stopped once you cancel. (Ask me how I know....) Anyway, a lot of negatives on this forum; some rightfully so, but my experience has been pretty damn good. Cheers to all.
