There is no way we used 1.6 gigs of service in two days when we don't even download a single thing. I need answers on this. Please respond with answers as to what exactly what type of information was downloaded.

It would be nice if they would give a real answer. I had 7.1 used out of my 10 I went to town now on that reserve thing. This is ridiculously a pain in the rear.
I have this yes wish they could come

Try using the newly released My eSVT tool detailed at:

https://community.exede.com/exede/topics/give-our-new-usage-tool-a-test-drive

Since it provides some minimal data usage history, It may provide some insight as to where your data went (or may indicate another problem that requires being addressed).

Every video you watch, even video ads you don't ask to see, every image on every website, ads included, every email every letter and space of every page etc... ALL of it is usage, that allowance is for upload, download, browsing, streaming updates, patches VOIP unless it's Excede Voice, everything any device you have does online using your connection.

also, depending on what and how many devices are hooked up to your exede modem, there may be automatic updates occurring in the background which you may never see, which can eat up your data allowance....i don't know if this has anything to do with your particular problem, but perhaps?

Hello Kenny, There can be MANY MANY things that can use a lot more data than you'd expect. As some of the comments on here suggest things like ads, autoplay videos, or system updates running in the background (Windows 10 is public enemy number 1 in that respect) can and will use up data and a lot of times that might be done without you even noticing. We have opened our new dashboard up for trial with members of this forum and you can use the link that Old Labs submitted above to try it. Or you can also either email us at exedelistens@viasat.com or via phone at 855-463-9333
