We had to constantly reset our router for a long time before it finally quit working altogether. A service rep. came out and replaced it and that one did not work. The rep. had to get another router and this one is getting hot and having to be reset constantly. We were without internet service for over a week and I haven't seen any discount on the bill. FED UP and looking into Hughes Net for service!

Sounds like you have the middle modem version. It will heat your house!

Theres not a lot to go on and I'm not there but several questions cross my mind. 3 non-working modems? It can happen but odds are awful low. Were these new modems or some that the tech had laying around? Was the power supply also changed? Is the power at the outlet solid? Is the wall outlet making solid connection or is power supply loose in it? Have you tried plugging into a different outlet? Try putting a small fan blowing on the modem to keep it from overheating. Does that help?
