Steve... They're on a build-up to detonation.
Will it will become a lonely place here once everyone gets their plans? or will we see that 100-150GB a month of priority data just isn't enough? Goodness, people, remember when 25GB was a premium plan with a hard data cap and 12Mbps was simply awesome.
I guess it's human nature... "if you can give me this, then you should be able to give me much, much more."

You have a great point here, and I do agree, but truly that is the way it always is with Tech.. back in the day there was not HD, so at that point, it really would matter. So, sure the more you get, the more companies are able to provide, and more they build, so the more you want to enjoy what is offered. It is an endless cycle, and yes, you are correct..

@Judge and Jury, I do not for see the day when this forum will ever go the way of being lonely. Once everyone sees the plans, there will be more issues. We won't be disappointed, people are what people are.

Nothing new to report really. It's always been planned to be a rolling release. A lot of new plans appeared for folks with our old modems but regarding ViaSat 2 that's slowly showing up in more places. If you don't see it now check again in a few days

So they could Look PR wise like they delivered on their promise to have Unlimited Internet Nationwide on the 28th.. So they do have it offered Nationwide, just not Viasat 2..

It didn't say fulfillment was complete, just that it officially started and is available in parts of the country- nationwide. Slight play on words there but it is rolling out steadily.

How long is the rolling release supposed to take? A week, a month, several months?

I only still see the plan I have now, just wondering if that will change soon. Does it mean maybe that new plans are coming? I know when I call in they do say the 30 is out there for me, but just wondering why nothing is showing up yet only the plan I'm on!

Once the new plans become available in your area they should show up on your dashboard for you to be able to change them.

Well if you ask me 200 dollars a month is way too much for 30 megs!! A family of 5 the speed throttling is geting to be very frustrating. I got the new viasat 2 upgrade but I'm very disappointed?? 100 mbps when o ya just keep checking back that's what they say!! I was paying 180 for 12 mbps for 4 months then I heard they had faster plans for cheaper but was never told anything about it ...... that say just cheak back and see what is in your area... in retrospect I live on a large farm and can't get any other service at my house evan tho charter and att is at the house 1000 feet up my rd ...... ok I'm over my rand and I'm on viasats hook for now but need that 100mbps asap.

If cable is that close I would see how much it would take to get it to your house. I mean at over $200/month for Viasat even if it cost $5000 for the cable install it wouldn't take that long to pay for itself.

I learned many years ago that you always "underpromise and overdeliver" and not the other way around.. this is what is hurting Viasat's credibility..not a sound marketing or business practice longterm.

Sadly that is the trend with most business today, investors first, and customers are an afterthought. To please investors, they tout revolutionary new service and "lock in" a whole slew of unsuspecting customers to make things look awesome, when in reality at this point its still nothing more than promises. History shows us that "over selling" something and taking peoples money either makes one rich, or has disastrous results. Mr Hughes "Spruce Goose", Tuckers automobiles, the Edsel, the DeLorean, Hillarys White Water project, Enron ... unfortunately, all we can do is wait and see if things pan out, or if we are stuck holding on to a dream that will eventually become just another lesson in failure taught in college business courses.

Actually it has nothing to do with the "little ol' internet" It is a multi billion dollar corporation, with billions invested and millions if not billions in revenue, I fail to see anything "little" about it. It is all about investors and customers alike who have chosen to put their trust and their money into a "dream" that has STILL not come to fruition.

Well, I'll be turning on that "Dream" tonight and watching Netflix or Acorn or Funamation or Youtube or TubiTV or VRV or Vudu or Crackle, or Pluto, or Pandora, or Shudder or Sling, or ...... I'm livin' the dream baby!

You see us as you want to see us - in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. You see us as a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal.
I'm about go go enjoy some of my 1.3 TB of video content while I lay on the sofa with my rescue dogs. Well, two of them anyway. The rottweiler mix has to stay on the floor.

Watching "The World According to Garp" tonight. Not a bad movie. The dogs seem to be happy too but I think one of them farted. Dog farts are the worst.

WOW, guess we have different dreams. Must be nice to have speeds you can watch video with, and not worry about burning up your data. I can do all those things too ... around 2AM. If I go over my data I cant even open my mail for the rest of the month. So yea, my dream is to actually GET the high tech state of the art high speed internet that I was promised, and pay for.

I'm confused. Did Garp die at the end of the movie? That Beatles song is awesome though.

I actually lost a plan that was available to me two weeks ago. Some improvement...
When I look at my account page, there are zero plans that offer 25Mbps (occasionally, in the middle of the night) speed. Top speed is 12Mbps.

No Viasat 2 plan available to me either as of February 28. Just the same old fake "unlimited" plan with up to 12 Mbps speed.

March 1st... Still nothing... Who here has a VS2 plan available to them???? So tired of the deception.... First it was "By the end of 2017", then "The first half of February" now "oh, its a rolling release"... Its ridiculous.... Ive never really understood peoples frustration with this company before until now, my experience before this deceit was always a positive one. Now I feel completely lied to and played for a fool. And the fact that there is no explanations, just EXCUSES is infuriating...
