If you are having unresolved issues with your internet service provider, file a formal complaint with the FCC internet online.

Thank you for the link, I bet Exede just loves you for it! ;p. Maybe if enough of us complain, things will change.

Now you have two of your identities talking to themselves. Weekends are interesting here.

Annalisa...,

Your are welcome,

I don't mind the slow speeds after data cap is reached.

I hate the fact that they block internet sites and links after data cap in reached.

Can't wait for better service provider to come around here. :)

I can't wait for competition to come to my area, having only 2 choices for a type of internet that isn't that great to begin with is terrible. It is my understanding that the FCC ruling will open up avenues for companies such as Google to be able to implement their fiber networks faster because they will now have access to poles that they didn't before. For all of the people who get good speeds, kudos to you. I rarely get above 3/1.43. Yes, contacted Exede and everything looks good on their end cuz Lord knows they never, ever gave anything messing up on their end. Except of course when I couldn't get my Bluray player to connect wirelessly or hard wired and it magically fixed itself overnight.

Exede does not block sites after you reach your data cap. The sites refuse your request because of the slow speed combined with the high latency. Wan to complain, complain to the owners of those sites for not allowing high latency, slow connections.
