Extremely Slow Speeds : Multiple Router Resets with NO Change

I am just simply doing some editing online and surfing thru websites. Each page is taking too long to load. No videos sites, just blogs sites and eCommerce sites. I did a reset of my Wi-Fi router/modem and no difference. I have downgraded from the very slow unlimited Freedom 150 plan to the even slower Liberty 50 plan because it wasn't worth paying $170/mo. The weather is partly cloudy tonight but even if it was clear outside, the speed would be just over 3MB. I'll be so happy once my contract is up.

1 Mbps is not extremely slow. I would be happy if my primetime speed was that.

Speeds are all in the eye of the beholder.

Speed is not really part of the theory of relativity. It’s either fast or it’s not.

Guess which ones are satellite....

Never saying satellite should be on par with cable or fiber, but dear Jesus, it should be no more than 10 years behind.

1. option!!! be happy with the speeds you have now and just quit complaining and just deal and weal with it...

Do you have your own router or do you have the modem with the blue circle on side with built in router?

If you have your own router, plug a computer directly into the modem (bypass your router)

If you have the modem with the built in wifi router, plug a computer directly into the modem.

Do your speedtest using testmy.net and use the 12 meg download test.
