Exede Voice

I can't believe how long it is taking to get exede voice delivered.  I ordered service on May 30th.  It took 10 days to deliver the voice box and 12 days to port my old phone number.  Go to set it up and the box doesn't work after dealing with customer service and several hour long calls and tech 2 support they decide the box is defective and they are going to rush one out.  That was 14days ago and multiple calls to customer service to find out where the package is.  I call tonight because it was supposed to arrive last Friday and nothing came.  They finally give me a tracking number and it was just received by UPS at 7:15 pm tonight right after I called.  To top it off I had to argue for them to remove the charge for the past month when I haven't even had the service or ability to get it.  I sure do hope when this thing arrives it works because it is my only choice where I live because the land line carriers in my area are no longer providing the service.  It is amazing how I can get something delivered from the west cost to MI faster than I can from Kentucky.  I guess everything at exede is slow even the shipping.  Just wanted to inform others that are thinking about getting this service.  I don't think I jumped the gun giving this review since I have been waiting 1 month  and called 8 times without anything but excuses.  The pony express was faster.  Jerry

That is unusual. I would send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com with your account info and, as many details as you can provide (rep names, dates of calls and orders, etc... I know it won't change your situation but, it may help prevent this from happening again, to anyone. The moderators here are really good about looking into stuff and, seeing why things went wrong.
