Exede voice

Exede voice- if you are unfortunate to have this service, good luck going to another voice carrier.  They refused to port my number to another company. I had 3 months of conversations to resolved this and nothing happened. I had to call the FCC, which stepped in and resolved the issue. its a federal law that numbers are to be ported and no phone company owns that number. Now 1 month later, I was lied to and was still getting charged for that number. I got a second credit and will see what happens next month.i Good luck if you have Excede Voice and. I had Exede Voice for several years. Last October I decided to switch to another phone service, which was half the price. I had no problems with my phone number being transferred from Exede Voice to my new provider, it was completed in less than 24 hours from the initial request. The fault was most likely with your new provider and not with Exede.

If you don't know who Alianza is, (The porting company), also Via Sat in California, then you didn't go through what I had to. I'm still getting billed for a number that was given to me by Exede , 3 months after it was supposed to be ported. I got that credit.  Last month, the number was to be closed out via Exede rep, Once closed, the number cannot be retrieved, but I got the number. Thank you FCC. This month I got billed again. Getting credit next month. I really believe you work for the company. Thank you for your opinion for what its worth. I also went with a cheaper company.

Salvatore, I am sorry that you are having such a problem porting your number.

Just to clarify, I am not an employee of ViaSat or Exede, and the only connection that I have with them is the monthly contract with Exede/ViaSat for my internet service. I, like many others on this forum, are simply here to assist other users with problems they might have, experience gained from my years of experience as a satellite user.

Thank you, but for the third time, I hope is the charm, I won't be billed for a service I do not have anymore. One can only hope. I have a ticket number and transaction ID. The problem should be fixed by now. Diana, it took 3 months, countless phone calls, and did not work until I got the FCC involved. T
his has been ongoing since September of this year.
