Exede always shows more usage than my GlassWire app.  Obviously Exede is counting some usage that GlassWire misses.  What could it be?

Glasswire only shows the usage on the computer that it is installed on. If you hve multiple computers on your home network, you need to have Glasswire installed on every computer, then you must add the usage on each computer to come up with your total usage. Also, any tablets and smartphones, smart TVs and Dish or Directv DVRs will not be shown in the Glasswire usage.

The best way to see you total usage is with a router that has a data measurement function built in.

I use an ASUS router, and the numbers that my router measures agrees with the Exede meter very closely, usually the router will show a slightly higher usage.

This is correct. It's not going to accommodate what your mobile or wifi usage is on other devices.  Like Steve said, the best way to get a detailed breakdown on EVERYTHING would be if your modem had a function like that.
