Exede counts data use
I have been a customer now for roughly 4 months and SO REGRET the decision. From the initial install which was a disaster (and a real danger to my wife, who was threatened by the installer) to customer support (10% actual dialogue, 90% on hold) to Exede's "measurement" of data usage. My (admittedly not exhaustive) review of the many, many complaints about excessive data usage has turned up very little about the elephant in the room: Exede is counting the data! Of course their count of data use is excessive; of course it bears no relation to reality (Windows counts my usage as 958M; Exede says it is 4.7G six days into the cycle !!!). This is what monopolies do! If there were multiple alternatives, there would be none of this, or at least far less. Like others who have posted here and have had their posts shut down or who have just disappeared .... I am actively considering paying the exit fee and quitting. Meanwhile, I am telling my story to all my friends.
