Exede Biz Poor Performance Speeds

Very slow speeds lately

  • This was the speeds around 10:30PM EDT - Monday - May 9, 2016 - We spend 300 dollars a month for 100GB of data. this is unacceptable and had gradually become worse over past 30 days. others??

I'm not in your area but, what beam are you on? By the looks of the forums some east coast beams are having issues. Issues that need to be corrected but, so far nothing has been officially said as to what the issues really are.

I don't know what beam we are on. Biz customers didn't get the access to the beta test panel that gives you that info so we don't know. We're in central VA about 30 miles SW of Charlottesville, VA near the Blue Ridge Parkway. - for 3600 dollars per year, it's going to have to be far better than this.

That sounds like the 329 area and, that is the beam that seems to have terrible (as in unusable) slow downs for residential customers as well. Something is amiss there. I hope Exede figures out what is wrong and gets it working better for everyone on that beam.

Thanks for the info. I plan on giving the biz support line a call on Tuesday. That's a different group for businesses and tend to be better at answering questions than what we experienced back when we had regular residential service.
