Excede Stops Working

Why is my service going out at times? It has happened today, twice, and yesterday....seems like it is once a day or more at times. I have to close out what I am doing, stop working, and restart my computer. Then it takes time to come back on. THEN I have to set everything back up again to work. Very irritating when this happens!!
