Error when trying to swap new modem out and activiting new unlimited plan getting error unable to process modem swap #000041. Does anyone know a resolution

William, you will need to contact Exede, the best way is to call 855-463-9333 so that they can walk you trough the swap and, resolve any issues as they do so.

Becky, you too will need to call Customer Care at 855-463-9333. They will assist you with that.

Keep trying until you get a representative that will help you. as customers we don't have the ability to provision modems and, if it want the installer ID, it needs provisioned. I know some of the phone reps can be less than helpful, they are working form a call center but, keep on them.

If you can't get it resolved this evening, email exedelistens@viasat.com with your account and contact information as well as the problem and, someone in the corporate office will help you.

Hi all,  I'm sorry to hear you were not able to swap your modem.  What troubleshooting steps did you take?  Have you tried  to  unplug modem, clear cache, cookies and history in your browser and plug the modem back in. If not, try it and try to activate the modem.  If that does not work, please call Customer Care at 855.463.9333 or send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com.
