Wildblue Webmail fails to move messages automatically from INBOX to list. I use Firefox with multiple tabs open, one of which is my mail. When I receive an audio tone I know I have mail. I have previously selected the INBOX folder so when I switch to the mail tab I used to have messages listed, now I don't. I liked it better before since I didn't have to click the INBOX an additional time to get it to show it's contents. This issue is supposedly being addressed under case #20418201 but since it has been over 3 weeks I seriously question if it is being worked on. I keep trying to open cases and they get closed without the issue being fixed. It was understood and fixed in case 00705482 in just 2 days.

Robert, you may want to consider using Thunderbird to get your email. You get the tone and, can just leave it on the inbox you want to see, your new mail is right there. And you can control how often it checks for new mail, use filters to filter out mail you do not want to see, etc...

Thunderbird won't run from a Tab on Firefox.  My understanding is it takes a separate window.  I like the Wildblue Webmail program because it does run as a Tab on my Firefox window, it just doesn't run like it used to.  Too bad someone can't fix it to how it was formerly.   Thanks for your feedback.

On a more generic note and if that doesn't work, I'd rule out any other add-ons or specific Firefox settings by restarting Firefox in Safe Mode:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

Again just a thought and something I do when experiencing partially working functionality on a specific site.

Obviously our messages crossed paths and beyond that  the ball's back in Exede's court ;)

Robert, I used to use Firefox for my webmail, and I had the same condition with new mail not showing up except in the Inbox in the left panel. Since I have switched to using the Windows 10 Edge browser, the problem has gone away, and the new mail displays in the main panel. I think it is a Firefox thing, and I don't know of any thing that may have to be changed in the options for Firefox to fix it.

Thanks Steve Frederick.  I have tried using Firefox in a Safe Mode but there is no change.  It may be that a Firefox update caused this loss of message transfer to occur.  But since I asked for help on this issue 9 months ago and the problem was fixed by Exede mail support in just a couple days it does make me think something happened in the mail program that affects me and perhaps not others.

You are welcome Robert. I don't know if it was a change in the Firefox updates, or a change in the Exede mail supplier, but I noticed that it started happening several months ago. It was just by accident that I started using the Edge  browser for the mail that I saw that the problem had vanished.

Since the switch to the new mail program more than a year ago, I have had some reservations about it, mainly its inability to handle spam emails very well, really very poorly, so I have been in the process of moving my email of choice to Gmail. It is a painfully slow process, as I have to change so many of my profiles at all the people I deal with. It is something that I do, changing a few each day, nd as I get an email from somewhere, I make the change there. I guess it is my fault, since my son, and many on here and in the other forum, have tried to tell me that using an email address provided by the ISP is a bad choice, since if one changes their ISP, the email account is immediately closed and rendered useless.

Being an old fart, it takes me a while to catch up on what is best with all this new technology, even though I am making wonderful progress.

Thanks Steve.  Wildblue webmail works OK for me except for this one issue which evidently no one in mail support can address.

Robert, I have used wildblue for years and just today found I lost all my email that were in my inbox for over 1.5 years. This just happened today and yes I use Firefox as my browser.
