With email (@wildblue.net address) -- I need a reliable way to back up the entire email account. Should I try to download them?  Can anyone explain how to have wildblue forward all my folders, to serve as backup, to another host? Can you tell me in pretty simple terms? Any help will be appreciated!! Thank you, Susan

Download a program called Thunderbird. Configure it to interface with your email account. Just make sure on the settings to "mirror" and not download and delete. Otherwise it will download a copy on your computer and remove it online.

Thunderbird is a great email client to use and I highly recommend it.

I might be off on the exact settings, but Thunderbird is the most powerful email client out there and can do what you want. It is a cousin to Firefox.

Hi S, I can't remember exactly how I did it. It has been a few years ago when wildblue was using google for its mail. I did find this info for you and I hope it works out. Let me know how it went:

1) Log in to your Wildblue webmail.

2) Click on preferences (1)

3) Click on Mail (2)

4) Add your email address you want your Wildblue mail forwarded to, in the box. (3)
(You can choose to leave a copy there or not)
