While it might work just fine, as most routers do work without a problem on Exede, it is very expensive, and aimed more at the folks who want something that is exotic, rather than a tried and proven wifi router. I have had the best luck with ASUS wireless routers, and would not trade an ASUS for any other brand. I have never seen anyone posting on this forum or the Wildblue/Exede forum about the EERO routers.

Hello Steve,The eeros will work with satellite. We just do not suggest it because when the eeros can not communicate with the cloud, they will stop the local area network traffic also. They use the cloud to obtain their settings. If you were to power cycle the eero primary because it has no internet connectivity, it will not be able to obtain the connection to our cloud and retrieve the settings again. This could lead to issues in the home that you may not see with other routers because of our cloud setup. That is why we do not advise the eeros as the best option for satellite internet. Thanks for your interest in eero,

Dallas @ eero

Steve, the EERO router system is definately not a good  choice to use on Exede, first off, as the EERO support team haave stated, and even more of a concern would be that the EERO is a cloud based router system. Anything that uses the cloud should be avoided with the limited amount of data you will have each month.
