Incidentally, you were on VS1 which has a sw view, a new install will be pointed at VS2 which has a se view so there is a VERY good chance that all your spite is for nothing.
If you sign a 2 yr contract and you KNOW you probably aren't going to fulfill it then that is all I need to know about your character.

Pay no attention to the ViaSat apologists that prowl these waters like sharks on the hunt.

Some people lend money, not borrow it.
Some people have such a good credit ratings that one blemish means little to them.
Some people have everything they want and live within their means.
Some people deal in cash only.
Some people have friends or family that are willing to finance their needs.
You cannot view others by what applies to you.
You assume too much.

I also made 35% interest in the stock market last year. I'm at 17% so far this year.
Investing and having the ability to borrow both matter to me.

If a person wants to have a 620 credit score and pay $1,200 a month for a two bedroom apartment that's their choice.

Ivan Bludnik....
You do use the word "some"..... a lot. You assume too little. MOST people out there depend on good credit because they work for a living and good credit means they can live in a nice house before their kids graduate from high school. It beats living in the absolute poorest of conditions so they can save to buy a house someday they may not need once the kids are gone to live on their own.
The real world awaits you, you just have to find it to live in it.

"Having good credit makes it possible for me to have a low mortgage payment. "
Again, you seem to think everyone has to live by your rules.
I have no mortgage. I paid cash for my property valued at more than a million dollars.
I also pay cash for my expensive cars and other toys.
I have never borrowed money.
Russian mafia? Maybe, maybe not.

Basically they couldn't afford the payments so they decided to get even by trashing something they didn't own. It boggles my mind how people can be so irresponsible.

Not only are you a jerk, you're an idiot. You're going to stiff ViaSat with an expired credit card when they come collecting but you also say you're moving into an apartment while your new house is built. What... not staying put until the new house is ready? Oh well, you must have your reasons. Now back to the idiot part.... Your lending institution is going to consider you for a mortgage.... based on your credit history and score. Your new house will go straight to market when your credit no longer qualifies you for the loan and you watch someone else move in because you have crappy credit and can't qualify to get the loan on the house. Construction loans are hard enough for most people and the final mortgage is even harder. Yup... Idiot, just a notch above just-plain-stupid. There again... you didn't actually say it was going to be a house... a few cardboard boxes taped together can make a "home" as plenty of people do it.

And, it's not like it's a choice. You owe it, and legally so.

When I worked in a server room I always did my best to put on a good show in front of the security cameras. I knew the people in security so I can only imagine what must have went through their minds.
