double billing

Got another charge instead of a refund. I had a lot of problems with my account, and the rep graciously offered to refund my monthly service fee. I thought that was swell. Until I got billed, for twice the amount of my monthly fee. Instead of giving me a credit, I got double-charged. And no chance to review the bill before it's paid. I've called about it twice, and been told that it would be fixed in a day or so, but it's not been fixed. Does anyone have a better number to call or email than the one I've been using for customer service?

Just to let you know you will probably not get a chance to review your bill before your payment is drafted. I have asked on several occasions why an email can't be sent out at least 24 to 48 hrs before debit in accounts. They can send out other emails at anytime so why not a bill that allows customers the chance to review their bill before pmt is drafted. Exede is the only bill I have where they take your money first then send your bill out to you. I don't understand how that is cost effective for the company when in case like yours where they will have to refund your money by a direct debit back to you account. Why didn't they just credit your account when called? The car must have not known what to do. I just think they would save their selves a lot of grief if they would trust their customers. Sometimes l sense they won't get their money if they don't take it first. I hope you get your bill straighten out and good luck. If enough people would complain about wanting to review their bill before direct debit in exede would change.

I agree with you a hundred percent Dorothy with one exception and thats exede trusting people. The vast majority yes but a few and most end up here complaining how bad they were treated and how abused they feel because they were lied to and scammed but if exede gives them extra dada monthly everything will be fine. It's all about wanting something for nothing. And please understand I know how you feel, I ran into this problem and had to close my debit card out because of It. Now I get billed then pay my payment. Its seems to work out better because one mistake on their part could cause your bank account to snowball. @ $36 a pop for insufficient checks. I can't take a chance on there bookkeeping. I have no other bills I can't review before hand.

Kentuckienne, send an email to the moderators at explaining the billing problem. Amber, Kimberley, or one of the others will take care of this for you. Include your account information in the email, your account number or your phone  number listed on your account.

Calling CSD will only allow you to get a service ticket started, but the first line csd people do not have the ability to credit your account, that is done by the Exede folks up the ladder.
