But to answer your question, customer service is open 7 × 24 and the mods on here are off but check in from time to time.

What plan are you on and how much priority data have you used for your current billing cycle?

Freedom 150 gig used50 this month it’s been slow for about a week now and when I call all they want to tell me is I need to upgrade.

That's right. They don't want you on the Freedom plan anymore. You are going to get slowed down, regardless of how much data you use.

A few weeks ago I had used 2.5GB of data for the billing cycle. During primetime I was pulling 400kbps.

If that’s the road they want to take and try to push people around I’ll just file a fcc complaint and keep filling them till we get some results.

Anything speed related or urgent you'll need to call our team at 855-463-9333 or do an agent chat. Those are 24/7 and are MUCH quicker at getting help for you.

Got my answer from Viasat today. It pretty much said we have changed usage policy and you got three choices...... stay ,change, or quit us. Folks all I have to say is you guys need to think long and hard about what there doing. You might be sailing along just peachy now but what’s going to happen to you when the airlines, or the Military need more data,then all the plans that are not affected they’ll start throttleing them to. As for me I know what way I’m going just got to get a few ducks lined up first. You know when you have invested 6 or 7 years of money and patience in a brand you kinda feel jaded but hey what’s 10’000 dollars over 6 years compared to some Airlines 6 figure a month bill. Any way this will be my last post here. Mabye on day we’ll all be complaining that our 5g or Fiber is only getting 850 mbps

We have been talking about this topic for weeks on here Jtwes.  You must have missed the numerous posts.  The answer that you got from Viasat has been stated repeatedly on here, and has caused a lot of user frustration.

I feel your pain and am in the same boat. It’s gonna get worse here, they’re not done abusing us. :(
