If you are using an email program such as Outlook or Thunderbird, once you have reconfigured the server parameters, the change is transparent. There is no difference. Some folks have had problems with secondary email addresses, which I am guessing is a work-in-progress at the email provider. If you are using the webpage interface, yeah that looks a lot different that Gmail, but it is pretty easy to fumble through it.
Hello Edward. If you're using a mail client you won't see a layout change but checking the email directly via the website is quite different from the GMail platform. We tried to use a platform that will allow us to use a lot of the same options as gmail but obviously it's a bit different. Here's some self-help tutorials on the basics of Zimbra's layout:
