DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS, THEY OVER CHARGE FOR THEIR SERVICE. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO FRUSTRATED IN MY LIFE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PEOPLE

Might I ask, what was your problem with the service?

There are many members on the forum that might be able to help you. We all have had some problems in the past, but usually find a cure for the issue.

Let us know the problem and you will get responses that can help.

in the beginning i was on the unlimited plan.  Then a few months into my CONTRACT they started to charge.  I was paying over 200.00 a month, because I using more than 40 gbs, at least that is what they said.  I switched to another provider and I dont even use 30 a month.  I cancelled with Exede and they want me to return the modem and transmitter.   I have no problem with that but the transmitter is on my roof.  I am a single mom who just had shoulder surgery.  Now on top of a cancellation fee they want me to pay them $150.00 to come out and get the transmitter down off my room.  I can do it they told me I explained my arm is in a sling and they basically said OH WELL.   the woman on the phone was rude and really did not care that I was unable to climb a ladder at this time!!!!!   I am still waiting on her supervisor to call.  She did not have his phone number.  Also she was not able to give me her last name or his last name.  Strange

Hi Donna,
I have read somewhere where Exede will send you a box to ship the dish back to them.

Do you have a neighbor or friend that could unbolt the dish for you?

Sending out a tech to get the dish does seem costly, but with the price of gas, Obama insurance and taxes, it does add up quickly.

I live on the Colorado plains about 70 miles NE of Denver. If you happen to live within 50 miles of me, I will come and take it down. My Ford truck is a gas guzzler at about 10 miles per gallon. But I would still do it as a good neighbor. If it was 150 miles, then I might need a little gas reimbursement.

Free friendly labor, but when the Ben Franklins start falling out of my pocket, I take notice.

Hope you can find some local help and finalize your Exede contract.

I think you should contact Consumer Protection Div. of the Attorney General Office and see if they can help you. Since it sounds like they are over charging you by claiming you are using more data then you feel you are using.

You have nothing to lose.

This makes no sense. The Exede unlimited plan was a very recent addition to the plans so I don't see how you could have been on it months ago. On any of the other plans when you get to the end of your data you are slowed, not automatically charged for more data. To get mere data you have to specifically and purposely buy more.
