I'm trying to connect a La Crosse weather station that requires 2.4GHz. Do I have this?

Assuming you are talking about the built-in router in the Viasat modem?

Yes. You have 2.4Ghz network. That actually is a standard frequency most if not all routers support

Unless Viasat has changed its firmware or updated the Viasat WiFi Modem, note that while most routers have 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz capability allowing you to use both at once, you’ll have to pick one or the other with the Viasat WiFi Modem. You may need to check its configuration to ensure 2.4 GHz is the active one (probably defaults to that). The following describes how to check and change the frequency if needed:

However, the newer Viasat WiFi Gateway (white triangular prism) supports using 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz at the same time -- so you don't have to choose.
