The plans are Unlimited but are subject to be deprioritized if needed after hitting a certain amount of data

As for my opinion of this, I will keep that to myself.

It looks like that antenna problem with VS2 is much bigger than they're openly admitting.

I am sure if Viasat had to do it over again, they would have never offered 150GB of priority data on all "unlimited" plans in the first place. But, it is too late for that now.

Anyhow, I expect the earnings call will have more information forthcoming on their "official" opinion.

The issues with Viasat 2, insurance claim, and sudden disappearance of unlimited plans are the main reasons for me deciding to sell my Viasat stock at a loss.
Shoot, the legal team might even direct the moderators to remove this post.

Folks needing internet in the boonies, will still sign up. Like us, no cell service and a landline is expensive. This is our only communication. It definetly isn't by choice.

I only say this because it appears your house looks like it’s high up.

Were I to change plans and stay on VS1 only Liberty plans are available to me.

Step son same 100.00 gets speeds up to 12 Mbps, video at 360 and, 40 GB priority data on VS2
OUCH! houses just 1/2 mile apart, same installer only he's on VS2 and wasn't a customer when new installs were still done on VS1 here.
Were I to change plans, I'd be on Liberty 50 at 12 Mbps for that same 100.00. Before Unlimited was offered, Liberty 50 at 25 Mbps was 100.00.
Not good, makes Viasat 2 look terrible. The Toblerone modem is cool and, the square TRIA looks cool but, that kind of cut in service for cosmetics? Nope, no way.

All of these with suspended privileges were from warning those forums of the spam/phishing posts when one occurred. So much for doing the right thing, or at least what I thought was the right thing. A simple, polite, "The post above is a phishing attempt. Do not click on the link provided." reply. SMH.
