I have been a long time customer since 2014.  I have had continuous troubles since the inception of getting this service.  I really want to say my frustration is never and has never been with the Customer Service Agents.  They are stellar.  It is the money-grubbing, unforgiving company.  They are greedy and totally unacceptable to work with.  They trap you in their crazy wording of things and take you for all your finances.  There is no mercy.  They are much more expensive than a new product that has finally come to my area, and offer much less GB, as well.  If you want to cancel, you cannot get a refund, no matter if you have been a long time customer....not, just a fly by night.  There is no consideration for longevity, nor loyalty.  It is a very, unkind, uncaring company.  But, again, I want to stress not the telephone customer service agents.  They are amazing and put with an enormous amount of mess.

I have much, much more I could say, but, it is wasting my breath.  I will be sure to give unfavorable reviews in any venue I find.

If you have been a customer for 6 years, you should be well off the contract so you should have no cancellation penalties. What refund are you looking for?

You are fortunate to have found a terrestrial service. They are always better and cheaper than satellites ... at least today’s satellites.

Never heard of a company that gives refunds after you've been a customer for 6 years and are out of contract.

I'm guessing she canceled in the middle of a billing period and expects a credit for unused partial month. DirecTV also bills monthly with no credit for partial months as does Viasat.

I was a customer for 2 years and at end of contract and was offered better offer and was going to go with it. Then about 4 days before was to be disconnected viastat rep called made me better offer to stay with  them. ( wish I had not answered that phone call. in 3 days they disconnected me, I spent all weekend walking to neighbors about 1500 feet each way because my phone was disconnected also . I would talk to rep they tell me it would be on by time I got home. Then about 5 minutes latter it would go off. I walk back to neighbors to use phone no cell service here. If you ever call you know you have to wait sometimes hour or more. Well 23 trips and calls and their installer left wan line laying of floor across whole house I tripped over it all the time. Well about 6 months latter they screwed up on their billing cycle I spent another weekend about 23 more phone calls and still had to be on phone half the day Monday. I was stabbed about 50 times and told board of directors that they treated me better than via-stat at least they got it over with. via-stat even turned me into collections for equipment I was still paying for and using for their service and was not behind I have got better service from used car salesmen I have been abused by them with little options living in woods on Oregon coast. Some day soon the area will be hard wired

You were stabbed 50 times and survived? That's a miracle!

Tough neighborhood and it was 1500 feet uphill, in the snow, both ways... if not for that lemon of a used car, he would have driven and locked the doors.

What plan are you on and how much priority data have you used for your current billing cycle?
