Disappointed in Exede's service. I explained our requirements when we signed up. Need to be able to work from home, play video games online, and stream movies/shows. However, I quickly exceed, no pun intended, the limit every time. I am on the Freedom pass way before my month usage is up. I had one of the higher packages but when I realized it would work for my needs, I downgraded. Pay so much for dismal, barely existing service. Exede doesn't offer a way out of their contract, doesn't offer a trial period, doesn't offer much. Customer service consists of many empty platitudes with no assistance. Basically, the only option is to wait it out and try and lower the termination fee or just terminate the contract. Get this...if you terminate the contract, Exede may or may not send you a UPS box to return the equipment within 30 days. However, the customer is still responsible to pay to send the equipment back or be charged and additional $300+ on top of the termination fee, if not received within the 30 days. Also, it is the customer's responsibility to contact Exede about the box but Exede doesn't guarantee a box within the 30 days but the customer better have the items returned within 30 days regardless. One more thing...they charge your payment to whatever account you have on file...no warning, no contact, just cha ching from your account. Wow! So plan on the additional cost of shipping back the equipment. I am counting the days to terminate. Everyone looking for internet DO NOT GET SUCKERED BY EXEDE!
