Looking for larger plan

We have a disabled family member who cannot leave the house. His whole life is on the IPhone. Our data usage has been as high as 1200.00 in one month. We try to tough it out with liberty pass so we can pay our bills and shop on line and do medical research but we have to result to buying more and more data. Our GB averages about 3gb per day. We need a better plan, if there is one. We have disability papers/proof if there is any way we can get a break on data useage. Thanks

Good luck if you live near the city could find some thing better but not in the country.

Wait for one of the moderators (ViaSat employees) to weigh in on your request - there may be some Exede options available including the possibility to move into a business account.

For that kind of usage, I'd suggest perhaps a bit of limiting or cutting back with ad blockers, flash blockers, media blockers and, going with a Business plan.

I recently transition to a Business plan, from a residential plan due to increased data needs. You do need a Business name, and, do have to sign a new 24 month contract, and you will need about an hour that you can be on the phone with a Business technician and,  on a connected computer at the same time but, it isn't difficult, and you don't need to have anyone come out, or get new equipment.

Look over the Business plans, one of them might suit you better and, not be so costly as buying as much more as you are buying now.

I think I'm going to have to agree with Bev and Old Labs. 3GB /day is a lot for a satellite internet connection and really there's nothing we can do with/without the disability documentation as really we can just offer what's available to you in your area. I've seen Freedom pop up randomly in some areas but outside of just checking routinely or waiting until the bigger plans surrounding ViaSat 2 a business account may be a route to look into.
