I would like Excede to offer a widget that could be installed on desktops so customers could monitor data usage in real time.

We would like to know how Exede is calculating our data usage. This seems to be a major problem for them. Transparency would be nice.

The official Exede rep, Alex, has stated a new data monitoring/reporting tool is in development.  I don't think they are asleep at the wheel on this.

I use NetWorx.  It is free, and seems to work pretty well. https://www.softperfect.com/products/networx/

Thank you for the time, Sandy. I just checked it out. Unfortunately, this free software does not interface with IOS for Apple.

I use NetWorx and also SRT. They both show about same usage but can do more with NetWorx. Both good programs.

Thanks, Champion. Apparently, NetWorx is only for PCs, not Macs. =(

Thank you, Cassidy. I'm going to give codebox a try.

We are developing a better data meter that can be viewed in terms of information that would become available to our customers. The data isn't measured in real time to the minute, as you can imagine it takes a little bit to get everything lined up with our signal bouncing back and forth to a satellite.
