Data usage & unable to connect

My bill was paid yesterday & it shows I have used 7.7 of 10 gb. Also I can't connect? I haven't used it for about a week due to unable to connect. I have only had the service for 1 month!!!!! I hope this is not what I have to look forward to. I didn't get Exede to not be able to use it!!!@
