For the past few months we have encountered excessive data usage problems that can't be happening. We have 2 laptops, my wife's and my own. All auto updates are turned off. The router and access point for the printer are password enabled with mac address entry enabled. This is a very secure system. We don't download videos or music, usage is just casual. I updated to the 25/12 plan from the 15/12 plan with the same excessive use results in one month. Very frustrating!!!

Several months ago, it was like Exede hired a new, inept person to calculate data usage. Abruptly, I was being told I had used up my monthly data, 18 days into the billing period. For three years prior, I NEVER received a notice of being anywhere near my cap. I am shopping for a new provider. Exede doesn't know how to count.

We're looking for a new provider as well. Living in the country has its advantages, Exede isn't one of them!

Join the club, 6 months now, with the unexplained data usage issue, they are still looking for the problem, and we are still suffering from it 6 months later....... Frustrating!!!
