I did not download 19.7 GB of data. Your servers are wrong and I want half of that back or I am reporting it. My data is getting mixed up with others data and this is not right. I want excede to check into this or I am reporting the company to the authorities for stealing data from me.

It's technically hard to evaluate, but we changed our plan from ~18G to 30G and lately run out of data with a week or more left in the billing month. We're not aware of any changes in our usage and don't stream movies or TV shows (don't have it connected to our TV either).

Hi Brian

There could be a great many things that can use your data including but not limited to: System and App updates, streaming, autoplay videos, ect.

We can review your usage if you email us at exedelistens@viasat.com

If you would like to independently verify the accuracy of the Exede usage meter (or inaccuracy as the case may always be albeit rare), see the last few responses in the following thread:

Suffice it to say most casual users are unaware of how data is used on their behalf. The first step is to get a second independent opinion... and have a basis for argument purposes if there's a discrepancy found. The easiest way to verify is through your router if it has traffic monitoring or analysis.

Data usage is both upload and download and, not just files you intentionally transfer. Updates, every time you load a web page, check email, check a social media site, etc.. every time you do anything online or, anything you have updates it's usage and, more of it is download than upload.
