Lib 10 as in Liberty Pass 10?  You should not be getting that screen at all.  When you go over your data allotment for the month, you should only get an email saying that you are now using the Liberty Pass.  Did you have another service plan before the Liberty Pass 10 plan you now have?  If so, there might be a mix up in your account that is causing this.  You might want to send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com and ask them to look at this problem.

The data notification is very important to the system which is really helpful for us. And which is really helpful for us. And I used the good information iphone. if I have any issue with iphone then go to the technical support to solve the problem. And I can activate iphone without sim which provides the good support to access the iphone.

Hi James,

We've scaled back on these indicators recently. You'll still get them about once a day (at least you should) if you are out of primary data. How frequently are you seeing this?

I'm not the OP but out house is getting this notice dozens of times a day still, particularly trying to connect our phones to the WiFi which won't connect because of this asinine hijacking b.s. it happens 10 times a day just on my phone, that is an interaction with android, but if I wasn't redirected constantly it wouldn't be an issue. I can't even use our network printer half the time because of this redirects bad mix with android.
I am beyond happy that you finally put a button to let is continue to the page we were originally going to, but that doesn't help when some pages will not allow you to go to them after, like my library's ebook downloads, they're inaccessible if the download page fails to load within 5 or 10 seconds, and it takes forever to load a page once over the cap.

We all know we're over. Stop the redirects after the first like 5 days over. If we want to buy more we will, but the hijacking is constant, at bad times, interferes with far too many things, and is quite unnecessary. Once a day per device? Bull. I can sit here get the stupid notice only phone when o try to access the network, click fix. 2 minutes later it happens again. And again
And this has happened on half a dozen phones or more we've had over 3+ years. We have the old 15g cap with free time 12-5, and the daytime is running at less than dialup speed plus the latency, but at night it's good, and we can actually use the internet without worry about cap or speed so switching to another plan with higher cap isn't an option, there is no more free zone on newer plans. The average internet account in the U.S. uses 190gb per month. Average. That includes the 80yrolds who barely understand email, those of us capped into oblivion, as well as the truly typical users and the power users. So, 190gb, avg 3 to 4 users? Probably average less than 2 users per account but we'll say 2. So 95gb per person avg including those that would be happy with dialup. A household like ours with 6 users all born in the computer age, means we need nearly 600gb cap just to be average, don't you dare try to watch tv online instead of just surf siteswhose images are what put over the cap. (3 of the last 4 months we were over cap in under 24hrs and no idea how. Half not home, half rest asleep, and the rest turned off the internet. We usually take 7 to 20 days because we are paranoid of using it up. Once over cap it is impossible to use banking sites and bill pay sites safely if at all, so has to be done before cap, or after midnight. Sure you have a 150gb plan but it includes the zero dark thirty hours too, and we can't afford to lose that. This big plan is still only 1/4 What we should need as average users so what's the point? Forget having a game or needing software only avail through download. Some are 10 20 30gb or more. Im this day where everything is online, fast net for most means everything now uses more data to be prettier, and many things are exclusively online that once could be bought in a store, these ridiculous headaches from satellite are bull. Maybe Viasat should approach the gov (like in NY state) and offer unlimited net plans for rural residents with zero alternatives (my house and many others no cell signal no dsl or any other such modern goody) other than dialup and satellite, even mobile networks since they're all data restricted these days too. Off to supply such plans for a reasonable price if they will give you the subsidy they're trying to give cable, who isn't coming any closer to bringing us broadband any time soon. We are less than a mile from cable in 2 directions, yet after 3 years of fighting alongside our entire road, we still only have an estimate of "no earlier than may 2020" and that was before spectrum screwed up.
Don't throttle us into nothingness, don't lower the current speed, it's not much to begin with- about a tenth that of cable- but create plans that are actually usable today, not 20 yrs ago. 20 yrs ago I bet living by myself I could get by on 15gb a month, but I didn't have to do nearly as many things online then, and thi mg s weren't as big. This isn't 20 yrs ago. You can't even apply to work at McDonald's Wal-Mart except online much less tend to utilities, insurance, and everything else. God forbid you should want to take an online class or work from home! NY will pay you to do it, and the people will pay if it's reasonable. 100bucks a month for a few days of bad servicefollowed by the remainder of the month excruciating service, or allnighters. That is not service at all. I know all the new and better satellites you've already launched and will be launching soon since our plan started. I know your customer base is shrinking as people finally get cable or fed up with useless connection over the cap and give up altogether. I can drive to end if road use 4g or the library's cable, why should we keep paying ridiculous amounts for worse connections than we got from AOL in 1998?
At the very very least, if you want to keep the customers you have, shut off the God damned redirects! If I get it 10 plus times a day on my phone and we have 30 devices, that's 300 freaking notices a day. We know. Why not make it easier to track data usage to start with? Only 1 if us can see that, and it costs precious data to check! It's time to move into the modern era, and actually PROVIDE INTERNET, not just pretend to. Mist already think they're being scammed when you promise 15 Mbps and we see downloads at best of 2 MBps, but that's the insistance on using net speeds instead of download speeds in advertising. Net speeds being 8x higher number just sound prettier. Start being honest, stop being annoying, and join this century.

nah that was during my free zone, and my actual novels are under 1MB lol.

Odd little update, my comment above was based on a plan search done during the spring. I went to look just now, and those 150gb plans for 100bucks are totally gone, but the 3 liberty plans with 3-6am freetime are back, with 50gb for 100bucks. That may be worth swapping to for us, but we have a fear of locking in another 2yrs by switching plans, and then suddenly cable will show up, and it's not worth 300 bucks to not have a contract when it would only be an insurance policy. Lose 2 hours free time, gain 35gb data. We might actually be able to stretch that a whole month one in a while, but still not worth the contract.

Clicking to respond to this from email, I got the overage redirect lol. Computers don't seem to be hurt by the redirects whatsoever. In fact I exceedingly rarely get the page on mine, but some of that is because I browse on it mostly at night. Smartphones simply don't want to connect sometimes no matter what, even manually going to the page lol.

They should just make a setting in account to stop the redirects once you've acknowledged going over for the month.

Contract doesn't renew by switching plans on Viasat. Only if they change your satellite to Viasat 2. Liberty Plans are Viasat 1 I think

I have never seen that. Is this another way of trying to force people to buy more data? By try bugging them? Nope -- still won't convince me. lol. They get enough out of me already
