DAP Redirect link broken?

I am having issues with this link http://notice.exede.net/dap-redirect.php.
When I try to load a page, this link continues to pop up instead of the page I was trying to access. Normally this would be fine, as I just ignore it and reload the page I was trying to access. Currently, this link appears to be broken and my browser displays a "connection was reset" error. I am unable to get past this page even though I am well aware that my usage has "exceded" my monthly data allowance. My data is usually exhausted in about 6-8 days and I spend the remainder of the month using the slow speeds. Now, I am totally unable to use the web. This should not be happening. I am locked out of the internet because of an excede redirect? WTF? Im about fed up with this sh^t.

What type of Exede plan do you have and when did you first sign up with Exede?

Hi Tom, that URL you provided is actually a link to your service activation page. Please send us your account and contact info to exedelistens@viasat.com so we can review your account and verify your connectivity status. Thank you.

This issue seems to have resolved itself overnight. I am no longer being redirected.
It is strange though because I have been an excede customer for almost two years. The account is payed up, and any activation should be unnecessary. At any rate, it is working now. My apologies for venting my frustrations here.

This link
http://notice.exede.net/dap-redirect.php
Is the page that Exede chooses to annoy you with when you're over your data limit.  In addition to throttling you to 40 or 60 kilobytes per second, they like to redirect you to that page (at random but recurring intervals), just so you know they're in charge.  The original page cannot be loaded till after you've loaded the Exede notice- IF you remember the link.

The really bad thing, is that somehow they make it impossible to use your back button, so you may have entirely lost your page.

But now, in addition to the above, their link is broken -connection reset- so you can never load the Exede notice page, and therefore can never load the page you want.

You can, however, access pages permanently blocked by Exede by using a free proxy.  Just remember to copy the link before Exede blocks you.

I found that the Exede redirect page actually is down: it is not just my account.  I pasted the URL into a free proxy and it said:

The requested resource could not be loaded.

I have the same problem called exede several times over two weeks no one knew what I was talking about even suggesting that I had a virus! Unbelievable, and let me add this also happens on my cell phones and messes them up big time, kicking them off wifi and onto my limited data plan and I dont even realize it at times so I use up 4g cell phone data. Simply unbelievable. Please stop this damaging intrusion, exede, we know when were out of data!

Hello vince,  How often are you getting this email? It appears to be malware or a virus.  Please send your account information to exedelistens@viasat.com. We will have it checked out by our IT  Security team.

ViaSat/Exede send an email once a day when you are in data restriction and it is sent around 8 AM local time. You will receive this email each day until your usage resets  to zero at the end of the normal service or billing cycle. Thanks.
