Been Exede customers since 2014. Having been laid up with flu I was unable to pay bill for Nov. Viasat suspended our internet,held it for ransom until I paid not only Nov, but Dec too.This is illegal & extortion! Will be cancelling Viasat/Exede, because we were forced to pay in advance for Dec we have to wait so that we don't lose our hard earned money!

Pretty sure you always pay for the month in advance. If you didn’t, Exede would lose up to a month of pay for service each time a customer quits. Common business practice.

Okay, bill paid in October covered November service. Bill NOT paid in November would be for December Service so, no you didn't pay for December.
If you have further questions please call Customer Care at 855-463-9333 or send an email toy with your account and contact information as well as what you are not understanding about your bill.

It's O.K. to not pay a bill because you have the flu?  Discontinuing service because you didn't pay your bill is illegal?  Boy, I wish I would have known that years ago.
