We all know that it difficult to really find proper balance where wolfs are not hungry and sheeps are not dead, but I still believe that it always possible to find proper solution in order company would be happy and customers would not want to leave the ISP and search for alternative solutions.
Probably somebody will want even raise money and open muninetworks as alternative option, but anyway.
ViaSat tried different approaches to make it all work, but somehow each time it was bringing just unpredictability.
ViaSat always writes and offers
user agreement when we sign contract, can we as users also write our own user agreement to ViaSat and offer to sign?
Because this "One-Way--user agreement puts us into position in future when policy of company changes all of a sudden and our User right are neglected.
This country was built upon Constitution which meant to protect human rights, not to neglect them.
To my opinion all those Data Caps, Throttling, prioritization and fake Unlimited is way to no-where as for company itself so for customers.
I think all those plans need to be brought to default values--everything needs to be started form scratch. Its not fair to have on both satellites 100mbit speeds and throttled 0.5 megabits even without reaching date cap limit.
Data Caps, Throttling and Prioritization should be eliminated as the thing of the past.
Internet should be really unlimited, company should sell not data caps, nor throttling, nor prioritization, nor unexpected policy changes.
Company should sell Unlimited, Constant , Speed Access to the Internet.
If company thinks that price is not fair, fine, company can determine which price for 30 calendar days of Unlimited constant
Speed Access to the Internet is fair and offer it to its customers as Its offer, And customers should offer its speeds they think would be fair to pay for.
Both parties would be happy.
ViaSat could sit and count how much person could consume if he or she could run download 24.7.31 with such speed.
This would allow ViaSat to have more users expansion plan.
right now everything is messed up with plans--nobody happy--it could lead to huge customers lost.
I do not know if FCC should know about such state of business because if you turn on your modem, run speedtest at any hour of day, and it first show 20 megabit download, then over some time drops to 1 or 0.65--then its definitely not congestion, but throttling.
Anyway, as a user, I do not want, nor 100, nor 50, nor 25 nor 12 fake speeds, as A user I wan Constant, Unlimited 5 megabit 220.127.116.115 access to the internet.
Can ViaSat do this?
Can they start selling speed to the internet instead of data caps, throttling , prioritization which make no sense ?
Can ViaSat create plans where speeds will be lower than they are now but they will be stable all the time?
Lets say 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 megabit per second but constant unlimited internet access speeds?
