Converstion breaking up

While talking to someone on the phone I am cutting in and out. I have an exede modem/router combo. Please help Ready to get rid of it all!

I had exede voice but went back to Verzon, landline, when they replaced a quarter mile section of cooper wire to my current neighborhood connection box.  My wife was the biggest complainer - saying that there is a lag.  I only noticed this lag a few times - we had exede voice for a year.  I loved the way they sent the voice mail to your email inbox.    Tracy the weather maybe to blame with intermittant dropouts - either at your end or at the gateway.  If this is a constant problem the please pursue asking exede for help.

Tracy, is the phone connected directly to the phone port on the modem? Do you have a different phone, preferably not a wireless phone you can try to make sure that isn't the problem?
