Here is what i posted:I logged into my Exede Account last week to see my usage at around 1.3GB. One day later I received an email stating that my usage is close to 90% used up. Confused by this I logged in again to find the usage now at 14.5GB. This is brand new service I just had installed 4 months ago in a seasonal rental property. The only person in the home at the time of the supposed usage was my daughter with her iPhone. My daughter is on a 2GB data plan with her iPhone and rarely hits her limit.
I now see a multitude of complaints all over the internet about how terrible this service is and there is page after page of complaints about this very same thing:
I am now on restricted or throttled service and this service is next to useless. When I call Exede customer service they tell me they have no idea how the data could have been used up and can not provide any details on the usage. Just general categories like Social Networking.
I have also read that I am now locked into a 24 month contract? I did not sign any contract so not sure what that means.
Can anyone help me with this?
Would appreciate a response in the very least before my concerns are dismissed out of hand.
