Hello,I have been a customer since 2013, I purchased the equipment needed (upfront) to connect my home to services. This cost was around $250, before viasat merged with exceed. I had noticed that I am being charged a lease fee for the equipment that I paid for upfront, in 2013. This monthly cost (~$11) was explained to me as being incorrect before during quick phone call, however, no correspondence was given about how this issue would be resolved. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

This is a public forum and you should not post personal information.

You won't be able to do anything about it now, but a mod will clean it up in the morning.

What you do want to do is email viasatlistens@viasat.com. Explain your issue, include your contact information there and your account number.

BTW. Exede never merged with Viasat. It has always been the same company. The service was just rebranded with the corporate name.

Didn't think they had the option to purchase equipment then.  I recall them having the option to prepay the lease fee for an amount of time.
