Heavy rain here and over night.  Woke to the modem flashing a white circle but can still connect.  Signal strength is very low but, again, I'm connect.   Will this resolved once the weather clears?

Jim,

I can't give you a proper answer without looking at the modem.  Can you please send your account number and a description of the issue to us at ViasatListens@viasat.com?

I have the same issue, speed test shows 17 and 5 so I’m on line and working just that the modem is pulsing white but it’s actiing as if it ‘s solid blue ?? This isn’t the first time this has happened, should I be concerned? Yes I also lose the internet on a regular basis, can’t help but believe it something on the Viasat side that’s hush hush , stock prices you know...

The VS2 modem definitely has an issue working properly after bad weather. Please report this!

Nathan, this problem has been reported by several people, including dealers, but has apparently been ignored so far.

This is disappointing to me, as in the past, Viasat has been quick to respond to problems like this, which is a  major one in my mind. I really cannot understand why they haven't come up wit a fix.

The modem has been connected to the internet for 33 hours now and still flashing white, my speed test shows between 13 1nd 17 down and 5 to 5.4 up. I’m paying for 25 and I’ve only seen once for a short while. Guess this is a wait and see thing., some are saying this may be a bad coax connection, I’ll check it once it drops the internet again.

A flashing white circle theoretically means that you are offline and the modem is either attempting to or is in the process of booting up. I can honestly say that I've never seen a modem be online yet flashing white.....thanks for mentioning this, otherwise I might incorrectly come to the conclusion that a customer is seeing things (if they are calling the store and I'm not at their house).

As far as a solution: the first thing that pops into my head is to unplug the modem for 2 full minutes and then reconnect power.....then walk away for a few minutes.....watching water come to a boil is a pure joy compared to waiting for a modem to reboot.
