Bundled with DirectTV who told us no contract with Exede usage this was a lie! Exede doesn't even work for my basic internet usage needing to watch a few SD videos for classes. The usage amount they say we've used is ridiculous because we've barely been able to use it!!! Was lied to by company and now stuck in the contract with the CRAPPIEST company I have ever dealt with!!!!

I'm sorry the DTV salesperson misled you. I know from experience as a 10 year plus WildBlue/Exede customer that Exede does not want this to be your experience. Exede has never misled me, and has been very helpful with resolving issues on the few occasions I have had an issue.

Pleas send an email with you account information and, concerns to, they will be able to address your issues and, give you some very helpful data management tips to help you make the most of your service.

I just spoke with customer service regarding this. First, my issue is with ON DEMAND programs which is a part of DIRECT TV service that we should able be able to access no matter what internet you have.  But anyways, customer service indicate that Direct TV can some sort of media change to help with this.  I am really dredding calling them as I will probably speak to 20 reps and when get some in the US which is when I will get someone who knows what their doing.  I would appreciate some assistance on exactly what I need to ask with technical terms so Direct TV can help me

You popped a two year old thread. But DirecTV On Demand won't necessarily work with any internet. Viasat has high latency and be pretty slow during primetime. On Demand might not work with that combo.

Regardless, you should not even have DirecTv attached to Viasat internet in no way, shape or form. You will burn through data like there is no tomorrow and then your service will slow to a crawl.

Directv is the company you should contact. This is a Viasat group.
