We just switched over from Wild Blue to Exede Evolution plan with approximately 9-10 days left on old plan.  You pay before using so my questions are as follows:

1) Will there be a reimbursement (prorated) for the time left under the old plan
2) Exede Evolution says I have 9 days left. - Will I have only 9 days to use the first months 15 GB?

One of the Exede moderators here will need to provide a definitive answer, but...

From experience and in my case, the billing date stayed the same. A credit was applied to the old account, while the 1st three days on exede were prorated, and I had 3 days where I could have used up to 10 GB on the Exede 12-10 plan. I used much of it in catching up on Windows Updates after a 7 year absence (actually less than that since I'd upgraded to Windows 7)  and had hours of entertainment updating and restarting Windows ;)

Hi Tim, I would like to take a look at your account and make sure that your credit for the prorated charge has been applied. Please send me an email to exedelistens@viasat.com with your account verification and I will take a look.

Really? Checked my email and the view reply button brought me right back here. I assumed the reply would actually provide an answer.
