There is no password on the standard ViaSat Surfbeam 2 modem. Passwords are associated with router functionality.

If you have the newer Exede WIFI modem (modem, router, voice adapter combined), its administrative utility can be reached by typing the IP address into your internet

Other routers' administrative utilities are typically reached by typing the IP address into your internet type the IP address into your internet browser.
Note that for wireless routers there are multiple passwords to be concerned about. The administrative utility password and the wireless access password(s) - dual band routers will typically allow establishing different access passwords for each band or frequency.

Hello Diana,

If you’re attempting to reset your password on your Exede Wifi Modem please follow the provided link for further instructions on how to do so. Unfortunately, if this is a 3rd party router we cannot provide any information as we do not own nor make the equipment (router). I would suggest contacting the manufacturer of your router for further support.

What does your setup look like?  Are you connecting directly to your Viasat modem?  Wireless or wired?

Which modem do you have?  The IP address is different, depending on the model of modem.

I had no luck on wifi devices. But if you plug ethernet cord into laptop from modem/router you type on your browser and itll take you to modem page. From there you TAP on wifi or router settings and it will ask you for username and password. It will do the same thing as before with the password looking like its extra long after you hit sign in but will actually take you to the settings. Wifi connection seems to stop you from logging in all the way. Even with computer wifi wont work. Only hard line.
