Greetings

I am thinking about upgrading to the Commercial - Recovery Act Plan

I read that this gives me 27 GBit/Month at up to 3 MB/S

Please confirm the following:
There is no contract
There are no installation fees as the modem I have works for this plan.
There are no equipment rental fees
There is no metering from 12 pm (midnight) to 5 am.
Total charge is $68.95 month

What else do I need to know?

Thanks

Federally subsidized program - don't think it's offered any more and was limited to WildBlue.

but may be able to upgrade if currently on it (would doubt it since funds have dried up but worth asking a moderator I guess and would grab the Platinum while it's still there).

Sorry Mechel, these plans were discontinued in August of 2013.

Old labs is correct. The recovery act was a program a few years ago that was offered but we no longer offer this as an option. We didn't make people upgrade and some people were able to be grandfathered in, I believe though for the same price many plans offer faster speeds and better befits than the recovery act would have offered. Liberty for example doesn't cut you off once you go over your monthly allowance and allows you to browse at 1-5mbps.

I am very happy with my Liberty Plan. Was just curious what Commercial-Recovery Act Plan. Just like to learn about things never heard of. Or could just say being nosey. :-)

It actually works really well, I am on the platinum recover act, I get 60 gigs a month and un-metered freezone from 12am to 5am, its rather expensive at $120 a month but I am a heavy internet user. Also its no longer offered. :(
