I am using Windows Live Mail and have entered the new settings per your instructions, but it will not let me send e-mails. I can receive them, but not send. I keep getting the message: server does not recognize the e-mail address, which I have had since obtaining wildblue years ago.

Only thing I can say is tripple check your settings. I know there are several others that are using windows mail and its working. You can call 1-855-463-9333 and tale to their email team and see if there's a setting you're missing maybe

Hello John. Like Knightrider suggested, your best bet is probably to call our email team. More than likely there's some small thing that needs to checked off that's causing it to not display. Just to be clear, if you go to go.wildblue.net  you are able to see your emails right?

I am able to download my email from the server to Windows live mail, but when I try to send an email from WLM I get the message that server doesn't recognize my email address.

Hello John, it sounds like you may have to correct some configuration settings with your email client. Please feel free to give our migration team a call for assistance with windows live configurations at 1-855-463-9333. Thank you.

This is such crap! This is the 4th or 5th time my e-mail has failed to send/receive. Each time it's been "fixed", but they don't tell what they did to "fix" it, nor does there appear to be a permanent fix. Perhaps it's time to seek out a new ISP.

Why not just open a gmail account, it is free, and that will take care of your email issues. If you change ISPs, assuming tht you even have other choices, you will have to change all your email addresses with everyone, because once you terminate your account with Exede your email account is automatically terminated also.

Steve, I have several e-mail accounts, including a couple of gmail accounts. But, I've been using my wildblue.net address for several years and I would like to continue with my current approach.  When at home, I run it through Outlook 2013. My e-mail has worked fine for months, since I migrated, so when there's a known error/problem and they can "fix" it, why can't Viasat/Exede/Wildblue effect a more permanent solution?
