Since the change took place with the server, I cannot send emails from my quickbooks.  I have spent 3 hrs on the phone & also with someone from Exede remotely logged into my computer.  They can't help me, told me to contact Inuit.  I did contact Intuit and because I'm using Pro 2013, they will only help me if I pay them $60 for support.  Does anyone have a solution??  PLEASE!  I'm supposed to send out 100's of invoices TOMORROW!  Thanks.

See http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/Articles/HOW13776 and utilize the new SMTP (outgoing) server.

Thanks, but all of my settings are already there & correct.  Still will not work. Email provider said it's possible the quickbooks program isn't compatible with the email server...

Just one final wild guess... if using a router, try bypassing it (if not already attempted) and connecting your computer directly to the modem to rule out any router related issue.

Heather, I was referring to the email client settings in quickbook.

Thanks everyone for trying to help me out!  Actually the tech from Exede called me back to say he'd found a solution.  Turns out they were using the wrong port #!  Three hours for such a simple fix!  Oh well, it's taken care of now!  :)  I was actually really impressed that the tech continued to look into my issue and got back with me on the solution.  He could've just dropped it and moved on to the next call and their problem.  Great customer service! (And they didn't want to charge me $60 for a one time support like Intuit would've done)

Glad to hear our techs were able to follow through and locate the port # causing problems with your quickbooks.  Job well done!

A best friend you didn't know you had.  I keep telling people Exede cares about every single customer.  They don't know  every customer, but they really do care   about every one of us.  Exede is a young company and is growing and learning.  Next year when ViaSat-2 is in operation Exede will morph into a confident and formidable competitor among ISPs not only because of new capacity but customer loyalty they deserve  because they earned it.
