So I have data, but a netflix selection will not load past 25%, it starts the intro credits then reloads and hangs at 25%, what do I do? Hulu loads and then crashes, loads and crashes. I was told Hulu uses a ton of data and netflix was the source the router was made to work with...
We apologize for the connectivity issues you're having with Netflix, Crystal. Shoot your account and contact information in an email to email@example.com and we'll be happy to help you out. Thanks!
Crystal, streaming video form ANY source uses a ton of data, more for HD than SD but still, it all uses a lot of data. I CAN stream Netflix, Hulu, YouTube or any other video I wish but, doing it very often isn't a good idea on ANY metered internet service.
I do have a subscription to several video services but, those are either ones that offer DVDs sent to my home or, for use while away from home and, on free WiFi, not for home use where streaming would use my data far to quickly.
Crystal, since you mentioned that "netflix was the source the router was made to work with", you are probably using NightShift. NightShift can pre-load Netflix at night (during the Late Night Free Zone for example) so you don't have to use your data to watch it. We'd also be happy to help you get to the bottom of this issue.
