Can't connect if CSP is online

When I attempt to connect to the internet I can ping just fine but when I attempt to connect to a website it always returns "connection reset by peer". Sometimes if I am lucky it's "connection has timed out" but that's MUCH more rare.

I have tried connecting directly to the modem, using various DNS settings including google's DNS, resetting the router and so on. I know for sure it's the CSP (Client-Side Proxy) because the moment it becomes online my connection refuses to work. So long as the CSP is offline I can connect to the internet.

We have been having some router issues lately so I figure this is a router issue but frankly if there is a way to turn off the CSP I would greatly appreciate that over anything else. Any suggestions are welcome however as I need to reconnect the modem every 2-5 minutes just to have any internet connectivity at all and it's starting to drive me insane.

Lisa, if this is something that has just started happening.....there is some type of issue on Viasat's end. It'll get worked out, give it some time. I'm having the same issue you are.

Yeah. I talked to the tech support after I made the thread, because I figured why not, and they informed me of some maintenance. Maintenance turned into problems but they assured me the problem would be fixed eventually.

They just got it worked out by the looks of it. My CSP is offline for the moment so I don't know for sure if it will last but at least for now it's working.

EDIT:
So it's been several hours without incident. I am fairly certain the issue is fixed. If a moderator wants to close the thread I'd take no issue with that.
