Cannot load Statefarm.com

All other web sites load correctly that I have tried, but STATEFARM.com and anything with STATEFARM.COM in the URL fail to be "reached" and come back as web site not found.  So far, Statefarm has not reported back any issues on their end, and this issue has been going on since we stated EXEDE.  Worked fine with Centurylink DSL.

We had a problem some time ago where our router was for some reason not loading or blocking certain sites.  We figured out that the router was the problem when we bypassed it then the sites would load.  Eventually we got it to work again but I don't think we ever figured out for sure what was going on.  A firmware update may have fixed that problem.  It still does it periodically but fortunately a reboot has managed to fix that issue since then.  So look to see if there is a firmware update for your router if the site works directly wired to your Exede modem.  There may be other settings as well to check as well.  Good luck.

It loaded for me. You are NOT using capital letters are you? If so try using all small letters.

Nope, just reg letters; links for Statefarm in Emails from them, Advertising for Statefarm on Yahoo, etc.  They all return a "cannot find web site".   Tracert to statefarm, www.statefarm. online2.statefarm, etc all return the some hops to servers, but all stop after hop 14, with 12.251.217.50 the last returned server address, the rest time out.

Paul this sounds like it's isolated to your connection somehow. Try calling us at 855-463-9333 and we can perform some tests to figure out what's going on

Try bypassing your router and connect the modem directly to the computer.  If it connects to the site then it is being blocked by the router.  Your router security should have an area that allows domains and web pages to be blocked...  Have you changed your DNS server?  I use openDNS and I can set filters to block content, web pages, or domains for my entire network...  Just some ideas...

Your problem maybe caused now by having stale data in your browsers' cached folders..If you can't get to that web site by clicking on the link I posted I suggest you clear browsers' cached data, or better yet install Ccleaner and run it and allow it to delete all it finds...if that does not fix your problem then try another browser..

But whatever you do (or Exede does) to fix the problem please post what caused the problem after you get the link to load.

I have cleared cookies, Flushed DNS catch twice, Rebooted Exede modem/router three times, hooked Windows10, Edge browser via Ethernet to the Modem/router, and no change.  Also, Attempts to get on Statefarm.com (www.statefarm.com, Https://statefarm.com) by IPhone and Ipad and Mac laptop, and Mac desktop give the same unreachable reply.  I do not think it is anything to do with the device trying to get onto Statefarm.com.  When wifi is turned off on the Iphone, thereby using the cellphone connection, Statefarm.com  can be reached.

Will post any resolution that happens.

While clearing local DNS caches can sometimes correct this issue (local caching is subject to errors), more often it's server side DNS caching issues that cause it. I suspect it's probably the core node (ip layer) that you're assigned to on Exede and the most likely reason others can access is that they're assigned to a different core node not having issues.

It's accessible here on beam 329, Lovelock gateway and Salt Lake City core node (direct Exede residential subscribers can determine that info using the MyESVT tool while others need to jump through a few hoops to determine that). Finding someone on the same beam/gateway/core node would probably isolate the problem but core node is the most likely suspect when it comes to DNS issues.
