Cannot access secondary email account using local client Thunderbird on Wildblue.
Also, cannot login to this secondary account. Have talked to multiple customer support reps who are not even well-enough trained to understand the 2 problems. I can access the secondary email account using webmail, which means I know the correct username and password. This has been happening ever since the email migration. The account settings are correct, but no email ever downloads.

I did send an email to "exedelistens" with my account info, but got no reply and no help. This is an extremely frustrating situation, because no one can answer questions and no one seems capable of fixing the problems. IMHO, this email migration is a complete disaster and we should receive one month's free service, when, or if, they ever fix the problems.

If I'm not mistaken Thunderbird is an Linux based email client for Linux. Might just be a software bug. Try Linux support via a bug report. Exude Internet sucks on every level. You might be able to get at least one of your problems corrected.

Thunderbird is free software available of all platforms. Thunderbird works fine with my primary email account.

We have been waiting 3+ months for a meaningful response from the ViaSat Flak Response Unit on similar issues about Thunderbird.  The migration is flawed because of underlying conflicts between the Wildblue and Exede platforms the ViaSat Premier "engineers" have never been able to address.  This is one of the reasons secondary email addresses are not being migrated.  There is really nothing customers can do about it except wait.

If proper testing had been done, this could have been resolved before this point. The solution should be fairly simple: make those secondary addresses primary addresses. Also, why can't I log onto the customer portal, which does not involve Thunderbird. I do not understand your comment about the secondary email addresses not being migrated. I can access the secondary address email via webmail. I appreciate your comment, but can you explain further what you mean by secondary email addresses are not being migrated.

Hello Gary, I can certainly understand your concerns in relation to secondary emails not being transferred over with your primary emails. We have seen some of the exact issues you’re experiencing. Either the emails have not quite migrated as of yet or some further configuration may needed to be completed I would advise to please give our Customer Care line a call at 1-855-463-9333 so they can address these questions quickly concerning email settings .Thank you

I have chatted with "Customer Care" multiple times and also on the phone. They don't have a clue, as I stated in my original posting. There is nothing wrong with my setting. I consider this a non-response to my posting. You should answer Jim Parker's question about when you will have the problem fixed.

Hi Gary, I posted earlier about this same problem in another thread. I have one primary account and three secondary accounts. The primary was migrated but not the secondary. I can log in through the wildblue email portal to access all accounts, but only the primary comes up in the new format (migrated). If I log out from it, I can proceed to log into any one of the secondary accounts, but browser is redirected to the old Google Mail web page where I can still use those secondary accounts. I think I have managed to change settings in Thunderbird in order to be able to send and receive to and from the secondary accounts as well, but I have not done a thorough test yet. If it works properly I will post a new thread with instructions for T-Bird Users. Hopefully this is only a temporary problem that can be worked around.
