After browser updates, I can no longer completely download the Candy Crush Saga game. The screen turns black and most of the icons do not show. Help!

If the Viasat Browser, try disabling hardware acceleration. See:

https://browser.viasat.com/faq#viasat-browser-appears-as-a-black-screen.-what-do-i-do

Other browsers typically have the same feature that can be disabled but instructions ar unique to the browser in question.

Hardware acceleration can cause the symptom you are seeing (and frequently occurs on browsers that utilize the Chromium, the platform upon which the Viasat Browser among others is based).

I did this, and now the browser says trying to download unsafe script.

Most state of the art browsers will prevent the loading of unsafe scripts that they detect. In this case it's likely that Candy Crush Saga is using mixed content (both secured and non-secured). The browser leaves it to the user to decide whether to load those scripts that are not secured using HTTPS. Well written sites will generally take this in to account and ensure that all of their content is secured with HTTPS. perhaps a recent Viasat browser change. I can't advise you as to whther or not trust Candy Crush Saga, but Candy Crush Sage should ensure all of its content is coming from secured sources as a matter of good practice.

Not surprisingly, even this site here shows me a warning for unsafe embedded content using the Viasat browser since the site is secured by HTTPS but it attempts to download its favorites icon from an unsecured site. In that case, if Viasat really wants to secure this site they should move their favicon to a secured location:

Whether this is the cause for the black screen triggering, who knows? Programming is much like chaos theory - a programmer flaps his wings in Brazil and causes a hurricane on the other side of the world.

Yes, it must be  the programmer flapping his wings. LOL.  I changed the setting in the browser as suggested, and when it got to the point where the screen previously turned black and not much else, it just stayed at the game logo.  I did try calling the customer care as suggested, and the recording walked me through turning everything off, etc.  Nothing helped.

You can report the issue to Viasat by clicking on the Viasat Browser ball icon near the top of the browser window and selecting “Report an Issue” from the menu that appears. Also, make sure this isn’t also happening in Chrome.
