cancelled Service, got charged for a month in advance the day after-not paying it

I need help.. I cancelled because I found an unlimited Verizon service, and I talked to a Rep yesterday that said I would definitely not get charged for the next month if I cancelled. Now, I cannot log in because my service is cancelled, and need help from a Rep  because I just got charged and I need help getting my money back. He said I would definitely not get charged.

Not under contract, and I don't owe them anything. Cancelled before the the renewal of the next month in advance. Just looking for a rep, not people spectating.

Inthesky, that sounds like you found a great alternative to internet service. I tried talking to Verizon, but their best deal was 20 GB for $120.00 a month.

You should send an email to one of the Exede Social Media gals at exedelistens@viasat.com telling them your situation, include your account number and phone number since they can't determine that from your name here on this forum.

Good luck, and enjoy your unlimited service, something all of us on satellite can only hope for.

More or less found a loop hole for the Verizon thing. It's out there if you look hard enough. Thanks. enjoyed talking to most of you guys, hate to leave.

Is the loophole 3G 1.5Mbps service?  I have looked at that, but don't have a good enough signal in my area.  May invest in an outside antenna for their modem/router.

Google is your friend.  Look for Verizon Flashed MIFI.  Plans vary, but it is roughly $10/month for "unlimited data up to 1.5 Mbps".  You won't get those speeds unless you are the only user on your local cell tower. Read some of the reviews by actual users (as opposed to advertising hype).  I was waiting for Inthesky to confirm if this is what he was talking about.  It depends on your Internet usage.  I could likely download more data in a few hours of LNFZ than I could with 24 hours of 3G connection, even if I had a great 3G connection.
